While Office 2021 does work on Windows 7, there are some limitations and compatibility issues. If you need to run Office 2007 on Windows 7, you’ll have to install the 64-bit version.
Microsoft Office 2013 supports Windows XP, but only as a 32-bit application. The current versions of Office for Windows XP support only Windows 10, Windows 8, and 8.1. The last version of Microsoft Office that works on Windows 7 is Office 2016. Fortunately, these programs are free and work just as well as Microsoft’s original product, so it’s worth the investment. Windows Home doesn’t come with Hyper/V, so you will have to download VMware Workstation or another similar product.
If you’re looking for a program that works on Windows 7, but don’t want to pay a premium for it, you can run older versions of Office on Windows by using virtual machines.
